FORGE ATHLETE BRANDING LLC

SCOPE OF SERVICES AGREEMENT

This Scope of Services Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Forge Athlete Branding LLC ("Forge"), and the undersigned athlete and parent/guardian ("Client"). This Agreement defines the services Forge will provide, the responsibilities of the Client, and the limitations and boundaries of Forge's role.

Effective Date: To be determined upon submission

1. PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT

Forge Athlete Branding provides branding, marketing, exposure management, and recruiting strategy services to amateur athletes. This Agreement outlines the specific services Forge offers and clarifies what Forge does not provide to ensure clear expectations and compliance with all NCAA, NAIA, state, and high-school regulations.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY FORGE

Forge will provide the following professional services:

A. Athlete Branding & Media Development
  1. Creation of custom athlete branding elements (logos, symbols, identity markers).
  2. Social media optimization and guidance on audience growth.
  3. Highlight film review and assistance with storytelling.
  4. Development of an athlete media kit or digital profile.
  5. NIL-readiness guidance, including local sponsorship strategy.
B. Recruiting Strategy & Consulting
  1. Evaluation of athlete's academic, athletic, and recruiting profile.
  2. Identification of realistic levels of college competition (D1, D2, D3, NAIA, JUCO, Prep).
  3. Customized recruiting roadmap and timeline.
  4. Guidance on communication with college coaches.
  5. Recommendations for camps, showcases, and exposure opportunities.
  6. Assistance in reviewing and assessing potential program "fit."
C. Academic Eligibility Guidance (Non-Tutoring)
  1. Explanation of NCAA/NAIA eligibility rules, core GPA requirements, and sliding scales.
  2. Review (not calculate or alter) parent-provided transcripts for general eligibility assessment.
  3. Strategic recommendations for academic recovery options, including: Credit recovery, Summer school, Prep school post-grad options, JUCO academic pathways.
  4. Monitoring progress toward eligibility as reported by the Client.

Forge does not provide tutoring, academic counseling, transcript edits, or school coursework.

D. Athlete Management & Communication
  1. Monthly check-ins to evaluate progress and adjust strategy.
  2. Coordination with the athlete regarding outreach, branding, and recruiting tasks.
  3. Guidance during recruiting discussions with coaches.
  4. Support in managing online presence and professional communication.

3. SERVICES NOT PROVIDED BY FORGE (BOUNDARIES)

Forge is not a sports agent, academic counselor, or scholarship broker. Forge does NOT:

  1. Guarantee athletic scholarships, NIL deals, or college roster spots.
  2. Negotiate binding contracts on behalf of the athlete.
  3. Provide legal representation or financial advising.
  4. Serve as a tutor, academic advisor, or academic services provider.
  5. Communicate with schools on behalf of the athlete in any manner prohibited by NCAA, NAIA, state athletic associations, or high-school rules.
  6. Perform coursework, improve grades, or alter transcripts.
  7. Influence high-school playing time or team decisions.

These boundaries ensure compliance with amateurism standards and protect the Client and Forge from regulatory violations.

4. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CLIENT

The Client agrees to:

  1. Provide accurate academic, athletic, and personal information.
  2. Complete all tasks, communication, or outreach recommended by Forge in a timely manner.
  3. Maintain academic eligibility, complete assignments, and attend required classes or recovery programs.
  4. Maintain professionalism in all online interactions and public appearances.
  5. Notify Forge of any changes in academic status, injuries, disciplinary issues, or school transfers.
  6. Understand that Forge offers guidance, not guaranteed outcomes.

5. TERM OF AGREEMENT

This Agreement begins on the Effective Date and continues on a monthly or annual basis as agreed upon at enrollment. Either party may terminate with written notice of 30 days.

6. COMPENSATION

Fees for Forge services are outlined in the enrollment documentation or invoice provided to the Client. Fees are for services rendered, not outcomes achieved.

Payments are non-refundable once services have been delivered for the billing period.

7. LIABILITY LIMITATION

Forge is not liable for:

  • Scholarship decisions
  • Admission decisions
  • Eligibility rulings
  • Playing time
  • Injuries or athletic setbacks
  • Decisions made by college coaches or programs

Forge provides strategic guidance, not guaranteed results.

8. CONFIDENTIALITY

Forge will maintain confidentiality of all personal and academic information provided by the Client and will use such information solely for the purpose of providing services under this Agreement.

9. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia unless otherwise required by the Client's state of residence.

Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of this agreement. A Forge representative will contact you within 24 hours to proceed with onboarding.
